Building 2700 - The work includes replacement of three centrifugal chillers and one heat recovery chiller. Chiller room upgrades include a refrigerant leak detection, purge exhaust system and included is all incidental related work. Building 2547 - The work includes replacement of two 125 ton centrifugal chillers with cooling towers and pumps, and modify chilled water piping to have a primary/secondary arrangement. Chiller room upgrades include a refrigerant leak detection and purge exhaust system. Replace three refrigerated air dryers and included is all incidental related work. There is a base bid and one option item for this project. The base bid (CLIN 0001) is all of the above work associated with building 2700. The option (CLIN 0002) is all of the above work associated with building 2547. During performance of this work, asbestos, hazardous waste, or pollution abatement may be encountered. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 08 August 1996 at no charge until supply is exhausted. Contract completion time is 280 calendar days.
