Z -- FURNISH AND INSTALL NEW 600-TON HIGH-PRESSURE ABSORPTION CHILLER SOL C600787T1 POC Contracting Officer, Bill Wise, (513)366-2025 Under this project, the Contractor shall furnish and install one new high-pressure 600-ton hermetic absorption chiller at the USEPA A.W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center, 26 W. Martin Luther King Drive, Cincinnati, OH. Work shall include removal and disposal of the existing 600-ton failed low-pressure absorption chiller; delivery, off-loading, rigging, and placement of equipment; all necessary chilled water and condensing water piping connections; all steam piping, steam piping connections, and new steam regulating station required to provide operational high pressure steam to the new chiller; all necessary condensate piping connections; all necessary electrical wiring and connections, including control wiring and connection to existing Johnson ''PC''-based building monitoring and control system (i.e., METASYS), and start-up of unit. A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated. For those proposals meeting the minimum performance standards/specifications set forth in the solicitation, price will be the determinative factor for award. Anticipated completion date is 210 calendar days after date of receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated price is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
