Project consists of surface treatment of two Forest Service roads and includes approximately 12.4 miles of seal coating, 6.2 miles of chip sealing and 22.2 miles of striping. Project is located on the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, McCloud Ranger District, Siskiyou County, California. Project can be located near McCloud, CA. Travel on Interstate 5 north of Redding, CA approximately 50 miles to State Highway 89. Proceed east on Highway 89 past McCloud about 20 miles to Bartle, CA, then north on FA15 for 4.5 miles to Powder Hill Road. The other portion of the project is also past McCloud on Highway 89 about 35 miles to a Siskiyou County Road, then north .5 miles on Forest Road FA24, Tom Young Road. Contract time is 30 calendar days for both roads with an estimated start date of September 15, 1996. Price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. (194)
