The Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, CA intends to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, 1 each, one-man portable, battery operated Electronic Warfare (EW) Threat Generator, PN: MTS-300A. The unit shall be fully programmable over the frequency range of 700 MHz to 18 GHz. The Threat Generator shall be capable of CW or pulse mode, with programmable pulse width, spacing and pulse repetition intervals (PRI). The system shall be capable of programmable stagger, RF Chirp, jitter and scan. Scans shall include Circular, Conical and Spiral. Track-While-Scan (TWS) capability shall have programmable modulation depth. The Threat Generator shall be capable of radiating with a received power of -35 dBm at 20 feet. Output of the Threat Generator shall be capable of direct connection as well as radiation. The Threat Generator shall be equipped with a programmable/removable PCMCIA threat storage card and password protection for data security. The system shall be capable of two simultaneous emitter operations and the system shall be upgradeable for operation in the Millimeter Wave Band. Due to unique capabilities, this requirement is sole sourced to MDP Technologies, Inc of Hauppauge, New York. This synopsis serves as both the publication and the solicitation of this requirement.
