The instrument must be fully compatible with an existing AmeriChrom (formerly Varex) instrument in all major respects, including oven configuration, spare parts, column configuration, software, safety interlocks, fraction collectors (6), production capacity, and detector system. Other requirements include full automation controlled under Windows 95, sensors for monitoring the loss of carrier gas, blockage in collectors, oven overheating or underheating, and the loss of actuation gas pressure. The instrument is for use with alternative refrigerants, natural products, liquid and gaseous fuels, and metal complexes. This is not a solicitation.
