In conjunction with the Office of Management and Budget's plan to consolidate data center operations governmentwide (OMB Bulletin 96-02), FEDCAC/FEDSIM plans to acquire commercial data processing services primarily for federal government agencies. An idefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract utilizing Fixed-Price Labor-Hour with economic price adjustment (EPA), and Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Task Orders is anticipated. A multiple award contract is planned. A Draft Request for Proposal (RFP) is planned for release on or about July 24, 1996. Industry comments/questions are solicited. Comments/Questions are due to FEDCAC on August 7, 1996, and shall be in the format specified in the Draft RFP (Section L, Paragraph 8, Figure L-1 ''Automated Questions and Answer Record Format''). An updated source list will also be provided. In order to be included on the source list, qualified firms are required to submit a written request to the Contracting Officer. Sources responding to this notice shall indicate whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged or woman-owned business. For this synopsis a business concern is considered small if its average annual receipts for its preceding three (3) fiscal years do not exceed $14.5 million dollars. The Government will not distribute printed copies of the Draft RFP. It will be made available to industry through the Hanscom Electronic RFP Bulletin Board (HERBB) and the Internet. The HERBB can be accessed through a computer modem, 24 hours per day, by calling 617/377-1487. Use the standard setting of N-8-1 at any baud from 300 to 28.8 (v.34).
