The Naval Research Laboratory intends to procure three mobile robot systems. Each robot will have a three wheel synchronous drive system and independent turret drive. Each robot will be capable of translational and rotatioal movement. Each robot shall coform to a maximum diameter of 24'' and a maximum height of 36''. Each robot shall be battery powered, contain onboard computer, storage and radio ethernet hardware. The onboard computer shall execute in a Unix environment and the software shall be capable of real-time access to the robot state and capable of fully controlling the robot.
