Fitch, Contracting Officer, 708-216-2606 A/E services needed to prepare final design drawings, specifications and the cost estimate for the following work at Building 217, of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines Illinois. (Hines Il, is located approximately 13 miles West of Downtown Chicago). Services will include, but are not limited to the design development, working drawings, contract documents, cost estimates and construction period services as needed to replace the existing nurse call system located on the first & second floors of the subject building, with a new system which must be compatible with the existing hospital system. Design shall also include conduit modifications based on changes to four (4) sixty bed units. Firms experienced in this type of work and who are located within a 100 mile radius of Hines Il. are requested to submit a SF-254 & SF-255, along with documentation showing successful completion of at least three similar jobs, to this hospital, by close of business August 21, 1996.
