Conduct surface weather observation program at Honolulu International Airport (HIA), on a 24 hour per day, 7 day per week basis. The Contractor shall be responsible for taking, documenting and disseminating accurate and timely aviation and synoptic observations and providing specified ASOS backup and augmentation observations once the HIA ASOS is commissioned. All station personnel must be certified by the NWS prior to conducting any weather observations at the HIA. The scheduled commencement date for these services is October 1, 1996.
