This solicitation will now be amended as follows: The solicitation will be an RFP to be issued around 10/30/96. Medical transcription service will be required for several VAMC and VA Outpatient Clinic's in the State of Florida. Contractor will be required to upload all reports into the VA's Main Computer located within each hospital. Contractor will be responsible for a dial-in type service by providing the necessary equipment and telephone capabilities to support a dial-in service. Reports will include Radiology, Compensation and Pension exams, Operation Reports, Discharge Summaries, and progress notes. Reports will have a turn around time of 4 hours, 24 hours, and 48 hours. Services are required to begin 1/1/97 thru 12/31/97 with four one-year renewal options. All previous requests to this solicitation will be honored. See Note(s): 1. (0200)
