Sources are sought for the non personal services of a part-time (approximately 24 hours per week) Exercise Physiologist to develop, maintain, plan and conduct a comprehensive health and physical fitness program aimed at assisting active duty members, retired members, civilian employees and eligible beneficiaries to generally improve their personal health and well being and to analyze and report on diversified fitness and wellness evaluations and interventions for a twelve (12) month period. The primary location for performance will be Moffett Federal Air Field in Mountain View CA, and at Onizuka Air Station in Sunnyvale CA. The total population of above local individuals eligible to avail themselves of these services is approximately 37,000. The Contractor shall furnish all required labor, management, supervision, teaching, consultations and reports. Since some of the services provided fall within the definition of child care services a criminal background check will be required. A medical evaluation is also required to include proof of immunity to, or vaccination against, various specific diseases. The Exercise Physiologist will be a graduate of a recognized program in exercise physiology, exercise physical education, or an associated field. A Masters degree in the appropriate field is desirable. The Contractor will provide and maintain adequate medical liability insurance.
