This contract deepens the existing detention pond, at the Buena Vista Pump Station in Muscle Shoals, AL. Lowering the bottom elevation from 480 to 466 M.S.L. Additionally, a new pumping station will be constructed to expedite the removal of stormwater from the detention pond. The new pumping station will be connected to the existing 36'' outfall. The principal items of work include: excavation, underground utilities, mechanical, electrical and structural. This job has a duration of 365 calendar days and is estimated to be in the $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 range. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The solicitation will be available on or about 30 Aug 96, at a cost of $65.00. Bid opening will be on or about 30 Sep 96. Funds are not presently available for this project.
