Work includes but is not limited to the following principal items: work is for the construction of a courtyard enclosure, on the second floor, Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. The resultant contract will include but not be limited to the removal of existing roof from courtyard, removal of existing precast panels, construction of steel column and beam structure with metal bar joist and metal roof deck. The roof system shall be built-up roof matching the finish on surrounding roofs. Exterior finish shall be exterior insulation finish system to match exisitng precast panels. Interior finishes shall be painted gypsum wallboard with exposed concrete floor and exposed metal roof deck and bar joist. Included will be a package roof top-mounted HVAC system. Exisitng window locations will be enlarged by cutting the existing precast panels to allow for new door opening. There will be some interior work rquired at existing interior walls where new doors are to be installed and windows are covered up. Interior work in existing area shall match the surrounding finishes. Project includes relocation of an exterior metal stair. The magnitutde of this project is between $250,000 and $5000,000. Performance period is 180 calendar days. Project is subject to a statutory cost limit of $300,000. Solicitation may contain one or more additive or deductive items. Solicitaion is unrestricted.
