The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1542 - General Contractors - Nonresidential Buildings, Other Than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes the construction of a 1600-square foot addition to an existing building. The addition will be constructed of masonry with brick veneer and metal stud bearing walls, metal roof trusses and shingle roofing. The work also includes kitchen equipment. HVAC for the addition will be a heat pump. Minor renovation of existing building is required for the addition and incidental related work. Concept design, windows, and materials incidated have been approved by the SHPO and must be closely followed. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is August 8, 1996. The projected bid opening date is September 9, 1996.
