Work consists of the general construction of an on-site wastewater
treatment and disposal system and a water treatment system to remove
iron and manganese. The wastewater system consists of a 12,000 gallon
concrete septic tank, dosing siphon, 1,045 feet of 6-inch diameter
gravity sewer, 1,070 feet of 8-inch diameter pressure sewer, and 3,600
linear feet of pressure distribution, sub-surface absorption trenches.
The water treatment facility includes a 432 square foot annex to an
existing block building, a 150 gallon/minute iron and manganese removal
filter system, and about 900 feet of 2-inch through 6-inch diameter
water lines. The work is located at the Little Bighorn Battlefield
National Monument, located approximately 70 miles east of Billings in
Bighorn County, Montana, along Interstate 90. Estimated Price Range:
Between $250,000 and $500,000. This acquisition is solicited under full
and open competition. Award will be made pursuant to PL 100-656, Small
Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible
