Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for the installation of reduced pressure back flow preventers with shut-off valving at our outer building's domestic water feed lines. Also, the installation of check valving with alarm tie-ins on building's sprinkler system feed lines. These buildings will require domestic water and/or sprinkler system repairs. Work is to include the installation of eight reduced pressure back flow preventers with shut-off valving and three check valves with alarm tie-ins. The work shall be performed by a mechanical contractor who has a minimum of five years experience in domestic and fire protection water lines. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable DMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period of this project is 120 days. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000. and $100,000. This work is located at the Defense Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in south city of St. Louis. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. This is 100% set aside for small business. There will be no public bid opening.
