Postal Service is soliciting proposals to upgrade the light poles and associated wiring, trenching, etc. at the General Mail Facility at 30 Old Karner Rd. in Albany, NY 12288-9998. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition of select existing light poles, trenching, new wiring, and installation of new exterior light poles per plans and specifications, and related miscellaneous work. The estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $400,000.00, with completion within 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Sealed offers will be received in this office prior to, but no later than, 4:00 p.m. on August 20, 1996. Offers will not be publicly opened. The number of offers received, the identity of the offerors, the amount of any offer, or relative standing of the offerors WILL NOT BE DISCLOSED TO ANYONE until award of contract is made. Proposal documents, plans and specifications will be available o/a July 19, 1996 at a cost of $25.00 per set (non-refundable) from the Facilities Service Office, U. S.
