Work on this project includes replacement of the electrical distribution system (transformer, panels, and wiring), replacement of the existing fire detection/suppression systems with new systems, replacement of a forced air ventilation system with a new 8-ton HVAC system, upgrade of existing compressed air piping, and the installation of a new 500-gallon aboveground storage tank and concrete containment basin. Period of performance is 270 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 1 Aug 96 and bid opening date of 3 Sep 96 are tentative.
