The project involves restoration, clean-up, and improvements to a stormwater lagoon near the shore of Willoughby Bay on the Naval Station. The work includes removal and proper disposal of debris, shore protection and placement of stone riprap, grading and drainage, preparation of planting areas and marsh creation, and planting of trees and turf. The work also includes construction of site amenities to include a pedestrian bridge, picnic shelters, benches, recreational features, and a jogging trail. Magnitude of construction is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Duration of the project is 270 calendar days.
