Z -- CONSTRUCTION OF ELEVATED WATER TANKS, QUONSET POINT/DAVISVILLE INDUSTRIAL PARK, NORTH KINGSTOWN, RHODE ISLAND SOL DACW33-96-B-0031 DUE 092496 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of construction of 750,000 gallon and 250,000 gallon elevated steel water storage tanks and installing 1,600 ft. of 16-inch diameter ductile iron water mains with associated valves, fittings, hydrants, and thrust blocks. The work also includes capping existing mains in place for six existing tanks, as well as associated site work, electrical work, telemetry work required at the tank sites. All work associated with the 250,000 gallon tank will be bid as additional work under a bid additive in this solicitation. Estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 365 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 082196 at a cost of $40.00 per set.
