The purpose of this notice is to incorporate Amendment No. 002 into Solicitation No. BEP-96-36(N) for a Stamp Coil Packaging Machine. Amendment 002 hereby clarifies that the feeder conveyor shall be flighted and a minimum of eight feet (2,440 mm) long. Amendment No. 002 also notifies prospective offerors that the type of shrink wrap film to be used on the machine will be 60 to 100 gauge, center-folded, polyolefin film (Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Stock Item No. 1L001139 identified by BEP Specification F:SWP-1D). Futhermore, this Amendment instructs prospective offerors to contact Jeff Ryan, Contract Specialist, at (202) 874-2132 to obtain a drawing showing the location and size of the BEP's freight elevators.
