The General Organization for Greater Cairo Water Supply (GOGCWS), in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S. firms who can qualify through experience in providing similar equipment to the required mobile mechanical workshop equipment. The required equipment consists of general purposes gauges, tripod crane, portable air compressor, bearing heater, moisture detector, sound meter, crack detector, non-contact thermometer, micrometer, vibration meter, stroboscope, portable flow meter, AC power meter, ultrasonic thickness guage and other items to be furnished and delivered to CIP Destination Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt. Bidder must have representation for supply of spare parts and service in the Arab Republic of Egypt and must bid on all of the items specified. A Fixed Price Host Country Contract with GOGCWS is anticipated. Payment will be made in U.S. Dollars by USAID/Cairo through a direct letter of Commitment under USAID Grant No. 263-1093. Bids must remain valid and open for acceptance for a minimum of 120 days from the date set for bid opening.
