58 -- LASER MARKER NIGHT VISION SIGHT SOL N00164-96-R-0127 POC Contact, John Pfender, 812-854-5198, Don Ellison, Contracting Officer NSWC Crane intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Litton Electron Devices, Optical Systems Division for 268/ea Laser Marker Night Vision Sights (LMNVS) in accordance with Statement of Work for the LMNVS and performance specification (PS/94/8852/004) as found in contract N00164-94-C-0223. It is anticipated that the requirement will consist of two separate lots with a basic portion of 98/ea awarded with the remaining additional 170/ea option units to be awarded but not exercised. The LMNVS is a high performance night vision device for night time acquisition and laser beam viewing. The night sight shall have 6x magnification. The image intensifier tube shall have an extended infrared sensitivity to at least 1100 nm for viewing the laser marker output of 1064 nanometers. The night sight shall have also include a weaver rail mount. The contractor shall deliver a quantity of 30/ea within 120 days after award. The remainder of the 98/ea basic shall be delivered every 30 days thereafter at a monthly rate of no more than 30/ea per month. Ship FOB destination (Crane, IN 47522-5001). See numbered Note 22.
