The General Organization for Greater Cairo Water Supply (GOGCWS), in the Arab Republic of Egypt, requests bids from U.S. firms who can qualify through experience in providing similar equipment to the required mobile electrical workshop equipment. The required equipment consists of analog AC clamp-on tester, digital ground resistance tester, capacitance meter, oil test set, voltage detector, cable detector/tracer, vacuum pump, cable fault locator, 12-ton hand compression tool, AC/DC dielectric strength tester, micro-ohmmeter, insulation resistance tester, portable air compressor, vacuum cleaner, portable power meter, transformer ratiometer, and thermocouple thermometer to be furnished and delivered to CIP Destination Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt. Bidder must have representation for supply of spare parts and service in the Arab Republic of Egypt and must bid on all of the items specified. A Fixed Price Host Country Contract with GOGCWS is anticipated. Payment will be made in U.S. Dollars by USAID/Cairo through a direct letter of Commitment under USAID Grant No. 263-1093.
