Satterfield, Contracting Officer, (708) 786-4945 Solicitation M5-Q9-96 will establish a VA National Contract for one of the following Proton Pump Inhibitors: Lansoprazole (Previacid) or Omeprazole (Prilosec). For the purpose of this procurement, these agents are considered to be therapeutically equivalent. Only offers from contractors and/or suppliers that have an affirmative FDA Quality Assurance Evaluation will be accepted. If other than the manufacturer, offeror must submit prior to award a copy of the signed agreement between the vendor and the manufacturer covering the entire contract period. Solicitation is for one base year and four one-year option periods. Distribution to VA and to other eligible facilities will be through the VA Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor program.
