This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 90- 39. The Standard Industrial Code and size standard for this requirement are 3651 and 700 employees respectively. This procurement is being conducted on a full and open competition basis. The DPAS rating is DO-C9. The Request for Offer, RFO2- 36632(CDT), requirement is for one (1 Ea.) Level ''B'' Plan #IZS-SDTF-32, 33 and 34; Twelve (12 Ea.) Electrohome Marquee 9501LC Acon with the following: a) 9'' EMF CRT, b) Liquid Coupled, c) 15-30 kHz scan range and automatic con vergence system, d) High-brightness greater than 250 ANSI lumens and e) 2000 x 2000 pixel resolution; Twelve (12) Image shifter- screen saver module installed into the Marquee 9510LC; 1 Lot (1 Lt) Projection Screens with: a) Twelve 7' -6'' x 10' -0'' Optawave 180 degrees viewing cone screens, b) Twelve 6'' -4'' x 4' -8'' x 3/8'' First Surface Mirrors, c) 360 degrees Perimeter 2000 dark bronze screen frame, d) Twelve Projector plate and custom slide system, e) Twelve Light Baffles, f) Twelve Custom structural wall (black) below screen and g) Twelve project/mirror stands (black); One (1Lt) Installation Materials; nuts, bolts, extra brackets, etc; One (1 Lt) First Year Warranty; One (Lt) Documentation: a) 60% Detailed Shop Drawings showing support structure, brac ing, and method for attaching equipment to the floors and ceilings - Due one week after award, b) 100% Detailed Ship Drawings showing support structure, bracing, and method for attaching equipment to the floors and ceilings - Due two weeks after award, c) Minimum of ten copies of all written specifications, user manuals, operator manuals, etc. for screens and projectors; One (1 Lt) pre-Installation Design Engineering; One (1 Lt) Installation Labor in the Field; One (1 Lt) Technical Coordinator (Field Engineering); One (1 Lt) Project Adjustments; and One (1 Lt) Freight, Shipping Charges. Items to be delivered shall be shipped FOB Destination to: NASA Ames Research Center, Bldg. 269, Moffett Field, CA. Delivery shall be no later than 45 days after contract award. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (Oct 1995) and the following addenda to this provision apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation- Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of the provision reads --The following factors in their relative order of importance shall be used to evaluate offers: i) The technical capability of items offered (ie., product manuals and/or proposals which prescribed in sufficient detail the technical features, ii) price, and iii) past performance. All evaluation factors, other than price, when combined are approximately equal to price. Paragraph (b) of this provision is not applicable. Award will be based on the lowest price, technically acceptable offer responsive to the requirements of the solicitation submitted by a responsible offeror.
