Wang Laboratories, Inc., is the OEM and the only source capable of satisfying our requirement for installation modification, upgrading, and trouble shooting the PROLOG Operating System. No other vendor can supply the software maintenance support. The software is proprietary and no other individual or company has access to the source code, therefore, hardware and software coverage must be provided by the OEM. This is synopsized for informational purposes only. No solicitations are avalable. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
