The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Memphis, TN, has a requirement for three nationally board certified Dental Assistants. These individuals will be required to perform duties inherent to this position, as well as to provide Oral Health Education Programs to the inmate populations at FCI Memphis and the Federal Prison Camp, Millington, TN. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the institution will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror(s) determined to be in the best interest of the Governement, price and other factors considered. These ''other factors'' are Past Performance and Technical. Services will be required primarily between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., six sessions a day (one session = one hour), five days a week (Monday - Friday), 1,560 sessions for the year. The base year of the contract shall run for twelve months from the date of award, with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed approximately August 5, 1996, with an approximated due date of September 3, 1996. It is anticipatd this requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid which may be considered for award. No collect calls will be accepted. (0201)
