Courtney, Contracting Officer, (606) 253-8885. The Federal Bureau of
Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Memphis, TN, has a
requirement for a Licensed and Registered Radiologist. This individual
will be required to perform duties inherent to this position,
including radiological testing, scheduling inmate x-ray requests, and
maintaining all related logs and files, among other duties. Due to the
nature of this contract, all individuals working within the
institution will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This
will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror
determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and
other factors considered. These ''other factors'' are Past Performance
and Technical. Services will be required primarily between the hours
of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., but not exclusively, with an estimated 20
sessions per week (one session = one hour), an estimated 1,040 sessions
for the year. The base year of the contract shall run for twelve months
from the date of award, with four (4) one year option periods for
renewal. It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed
approximately August 5, 1996, with an approximate due date of September
3, 1996. It is anticipated this contract will result in a Firm-Fixed
Price, Requirements type contract. All responsible sources may submit
a bid which may be considered for award. No collect calls will be
