The work of this contract consists of constructing above ground fuel storage tanks and removing and disposing of existing underground fuel storage tanks at Grand Canyon National Park. The above ground tank work involves constructing a bulk oil storage facility including modifications to an existing tank, and also constructing smaller diesel and unleaded vehicle fueling facilities. The buried tank removal includes removal and disposal of both diesel and unleaded tanks for 10,000 gallons to 40,000 gallons including removal of any contaminated soil. The contract will be broken into a base bid with options. Bid opening date is August 29, 1996. This procurement action is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
