Y -- COASTAL FLOOD DAMAGE REDUCTION PROJECT, ROUGHAN'S POINT, REVERE, MASSACHUSETTS SOL DACW33-96-B-0032 DUE 090496 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of the construction of over 3,000 feet of shoreline stone revetment (intertidal area, stones weighing up to 2,000 lbs); a 60'' X 60'' Reinforced concrete box culvert drainage system; a reinforced concrete/steel fabricated gate street closure; and a traffic island. Ocean disposal of dredge material and habitat creation is also required. Estimated quantities include 60,000 CY of excavation; 75,000 CY of stone protection, 13,000 SF of sheet piling; and creation of 2 acre mitigation habitat. Estimated cost of the work is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 730 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 080596 at a cost of $50.00 per set. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the New England Division. (0201)
