based on the size standard and related SIC code of $17,000,000.00 and
1542. It is anticipated this solicitation will result in multiple fixed
price, indefinite quantity type contracts with a possible performance
period of up to five years for the NASA Dryden Flight Research Center
at Edwards, CA. Several small task orders may be negotiated with the
selected contractor during any one year period. Normally, no individual
task order will exceed $200,000.00 and no individual contractor will
receive awards in excess of $1,000,000.00 during any one period. The
delivery orders will require multiple disciplines in the fields of
carpentry, plumber, tile setter, painter/paper hanger, mason, plaster
lather, cement finisher, roofer, sheetmetal worker, welder,
electrician, laborer, fire sprinkler, equipment operator and truck
driver. This is an indefinite quantity contract in which the work
includes miscellaneous construction, repairs, alterations, and
incidental related work at pre-determined wage, material and equipment
costs. All work under this contract will be ordered by issuance of
individual delivery orders. The contractor shall furnish all
supervision, labor, transportation, material and equipment to fulfill
the requirements of this specification. A guaranteed minimum of
$5,000.00 per year with a maximum of $1,000,000.00 per year. If
multiple contracts are awarded, projects will be competed between
contractors to assure the government receives a fair and reasonable
price. Offers will propose hourly rates for each discipline, which must
be at least the Davis-Bacon hourly wage. The unit price will include
all contractor markups, supervision, profit, G&A, field and home office
overhead, bonding, insurance and any other miscellaneous costs.
Contract specifications will be available on or about July 31, 1996.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by
the agency. This Procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange
Pilot Test program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy
on April 16, 1993. Request for copies of the RFO must be submitted in
