Z -- CHILLER REPLACEMENT, BLDG 17/REPLACE PNEUMATIC CONTROLS, BLDG 15, CHAMBLEE CAMPUS SOL 96-122 POC Contact Leroy King at (404)842-6510 Furnish all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment and transportation to provide demolition and replacement of mechanical equipment serving Building 17, Chamblee Campus, Atlanta, GA. Scope of Work includes: Removal of a Westinghouse 225 ton chiller and installation of a new 250 ton chiller; Removal of two (2) Cooling Towers and installation of one (1) Cooling Tower with two cells; Total cooling tower capacity will match chiller capacity; Removal of two (2) condenser water pumps and two (2) chilled water pumps and Replace with new pumps to match flow rates of chillers and cooling towers. Piping to be installed such that pumps can operate with either chiller. Electrical work will include motor termination disconnection and reconnection to installed equipment. Controls work will include expansion of existing ''Chamblee Campus Building Automation System'' (BAS) to Building 17. The system will be capable of controlling Chillers, Cooling Towers, and Pumps. The following is an addition to this solicitation: Building 15, also located at Chamblee Campus the work includes but is not limited to, the replacement of the HVAC Controls and minor ductwork changes. This replacement consists, in general, of the following aspects: Replacement of bldg HVAC Pneumatic Controls with electronic components. Minor Ductwork changes, including replacement of Air-Balancing devices. Automatic lighting controls as part of a new Bldg Automation System. Replacement of two (2) exterior doors. Removal of hazardous materials are not a part of this contract. All known Asbestos removal will be completed under another contract before the execution of this contract. This solicitation is unrestricted. Cost range for this solicitation is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bid Bonds will be required. Subsequently, Payment and Performance Bonds will be required from the successful Offeror. Solicitation package 96-122 will be available on or about August 6, 1996.
