The Standard Industrial Code (SIC), for this project is 1542 - General Contractors - Non Residential Buildings, Other than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 Million. The work includes a new 1302 gross square foot jet fuel testing laboratory and incidental related work. The facility is slab-on-grade construction with concrete masonry unit walls and partitions. The exterior of the facility is concrete masonry unit and brick. Roof construction consists of built-up asphalt on ridid insulation supported by metal deck on bar joists. The facility is heated and cooled by a heat pump. The facility includes laboratory, office classroom, lockers and ready area. The projected date of availability of the solicitation is 31 July 1996. The projected bid opening date is 2 Depte,ber 1996.
