The work will consist of placing Government furnished gravel, cobble, or riprap rock to repair damaged sections of levee reaches; placing 3/4 inch crushed gravel surfacing on levee surfaces; placing subgrade material and gravel surfacing on designated levee access ways; and removing deleterious vegetation from designated levee reaches. The work will require the rental of: a) gated or rocklip end dump trucks, minimum 10 cubic yards; b) dozer with blade and ripper; c) rubber-tired front-end loader; d) track-mounted hydraulic excavator; e) roller/compactor, static or vibratory, self-propelled with 6-foot smooth drum; f) water truck, minimum 4,000 gallon rear spray bar; and g) lowboy transport.
