Z -- RENOVATIONS OF BUILDING 324 SOL DAAD05-96-B-0029 DUE 090496 POC Contract Specialist Gary M. Coulter (410) 278-2399 (Site Code DAAD05) Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to renovate Building 324 located in the Aberdeen Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This renovation will provide photographic operations facilities for the Directorate of Information Management. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following: Remodel approximately 6,000 square feet in the northwest and southwest sections of the first floor of Building 324. Items of work will include abatement of asbestos, removal of lead based paint, demolition, insulation, installation of wall board, repairing existing windows, installing suspended ceiling and recessed lighting, installing vinyl composition flooring or carpet, installing air cooled chiller system and hot water converter for heating coil in new air handling system, installing water heater and booster heater, modifying existing wet pipe fire sprinkler system, installing new electrical service from existing main distribution panel board to new branch circuits, installing emergency lighting, incorporation of existing radio transmission system into extended existing fire alarm system. This solicitation shall be issued Full and Open Competition and all responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 through $1,000,000. The completion schedule for this project is 300 days after the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Bid Opening date is estimated.
