Ramos, Contracting Officer, 904-882-5628. Presolicitation Notice. Replace Underground Fuel Lines, AAFES Service Station, Eglin AFB FL. Estimated Bid Date is 17 Sep 96. In general, work consists of removing the existing single wall fuel piping and replacing it with double wall fuel piping, installing government furnished dispensers, installing a tank level monitoring system on five existing UG fuel tanks, installing an intercom system, and installing a leak detection system for the double wall piping. Army and Air Forces Exchange Service (AAFES) shall install the teller monitoring system during the project. Work shall be located in the AAFES gas station, facility 2586, Eglin AFB FL. Performance Period is 100 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after bid opening with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
