Construct Switch Addition/Repair Building 129. Project No. DKFX 96-1154A/B. Estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Performance time is 120 calendar days. Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision necessary to accomplish construction of new addition and repair of Building 129 at Charleston AFB, SC. The work includes, but is not limited to construct parking/loading area, provide sodding, paving and curbing. Removal of existing wood screen fencing and relocation of existing outdoor mechanical condensing units. Extending cable trays from existing vault to the attic of existing building and into the new addition. Repair fire wall and extend to roof deck. Install new standing seam metal roof system over the existing building. Reroute existing overhead steam lines and provide new transformer, transfer switch and generator. Bid additive #1: Add a brick veneer to the CMU walls of the addition. Bid additive #2: Install a new water main and install a Preaction and wet pipe sprinkler system.
