This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR CLAUSE 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: a. Installation of approximately 9,000 linear feet of new 6'' and 8'' water mains, fire hydrants, and gate valves. b. Installation of jockey pumps and rework of fire pump controls for deluge system at Bldg 4002. c. Installation of double check assembly, altitude valve, and associated plumbing assembly and shed at facility 4515. d. Clean and repair 500,000 gal water tower and provide cathodic protection system. e. Optional items include repair and rework of chlorine injector system, remove and replace fire hydrant assemblies, remove and cap fire hydrant assemblies at Seymour Johnson AFB NC. Solicitation will be available on or about 5 Aug 96. The performance period is approximately 225 calendar days.
