Work includes but is not limited to demolition of walls, ceilings, and the installation of new walls, new ceilings, new floors, new electrical work including new electrical outlets and light fixtures, plumbing work, installation of window air conditioner on ward 6D at the FDR VA Hospital, Montrose, NY. All work shall be in accordance with specifications and drawings. Estimated cost range is between $100,000. and $250,000. A limited number of bid packages will be available on or about 8/13/96 and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis until supply is exhausted. No fee for plans and specs. Requests for bid packages must be in writing on company letter head addressed to the Contracting Officer, address above. No phone or fax requested will be honored. Mandatory contract completion time is 180 calendar days. BOD is 9/18/96 at 3:00 P.M. local time. All bidders are urged to and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
