Contractor shall provide all material, equipment, tools, labor, ect, required to perform the work to maintain and repair existing roofs and to construct new roofs on Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. The work areas are: All base roofs. The work includes, but not limited to: Remove existing built-up roof system, asbestos removal, new 4-ply modified built-up roof system, new elastomeric fluid roof system, new metal roof panels, new 2-ply with flood coat and others. Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation will be made available on or about 12 AUG 96 with a BOD of 12 SEP 96. Project is to be awarded with a 365 day base year and a 365 day option year. Package will be sent upon written request and receipt of payment for package. Request shall include mailing address, phone number, fax number as well as size of business. The cost for the plans and specifications will be determined prior to issuance. Checks or money orders will be made out to: U.S. Treasury. This project is open to both large and small businesses and is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
