Z -- EMERGENCY GENERATOR REPLACEMENT AT CAPE COD CANAL, RAILROAD BRIDGE, BUZZARDS BAY, MA SOL DACW33-96-B-0033 DUE 090596 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 Remove and dispose of one generator (500 kW, 480 V, 900 RPM weighing approximately 60,000 pounds) from the generator building, three 150 kVA and three 15 kVA oil-filled (non-PCB) transformers from the transformer house (located about 30 feet above the rails on the bridge structure), and associated switchgear and wiring. Install Government-furnished 750 kW generator, automatic transfer switch, and 400 kW load bank. Furnish and install 500 kVA pad mounted transformer with primary connection to existing riser pole and secondary connection to adjacent generator building. Provide underground feeder and other wiring in conduits from generator building to operators room (on bridge structure). Primary voltage is at 4160 V, secondary voltage is 480 V. Estimated cost of the work is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days. Plans and specifications available on or about 080696 at a cost of $16.00 per set.
