The Health Resources and Services Administration proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis with the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM), 1160 L Stret, NW, Suite 206, Washington, DC 20036, for the purpose of reviewing, revising and updating the current Preventive Medicine Competencies; assisting the planning committee for the Fourth Annual Preventive Medicine Residency Directors Workshop; arranging for further review at the March 1997 meeting of Prevention '97; and recommending action steps for dissemination and implementation of the updated competencies. The ACPM is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services as set forth in 41 U.S.C. 253(c)1. A Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. The period of performance is one year. This award shall be made using Simplified Acquisition procedures. See Numbered Note(s): 22.
