The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. This brochure identifies technical data required to be submitted based on your company's experience in production of the same or similar item, or if this is an item you have never made. Only Lori Corporation (63389) and Allied Signal (70210) will be solicited for this requirement as the article is a highly specialized part for only which the aforementioned concerns have demonstrated a repair and recore capability. The solicitation will be issued with a 2 year base period and include 3 one year option periods exerciseable at the Governments's discretion. The 110 each quantity represents the total estimated repairs for the potential 5 year ordering period.
