The work of this contract will consist of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide and install precast concrete vault toilets, complete and ready for use, at four National Park units within California. Incidental work includes pumping, demolition and backfill of existing toilet structures and on-site concrete paving. Units shall be a precast concrete tank and toilet building meeting U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service ``Sweet Smelling Toilet'' design criteria. Additionally, structures shall meet the requirements of State and local codes, Uniform Building Code, Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines and California Title 24 standards. Toilet structures shall be installed as follows: 4 each single-stall toilet structures at Joshua Tree National preserve in San Bernardino County; 4 each double-stall structures at Point Reyes National Seashore in Marin County; and 3 each Double-stall structures at Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area in Shasta County. The resulting contract will have options for additional quantities, subject to availability of funding, as follows: 2. each single-stall toilet structures at Joshua Tree National Park; 1 each single-stall and 3 each double-stall structures, all at different locations within Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area. Work shall be completed within 30 days per Park or 120 calendar days from Notice of Award. The response date is approximate and will be 30 days after issuance of the formal Request for Proposal.
