70 -- NETFRAME FILE SERVER UPGRADE POC POC: Al Moore, (703) 693-2139 Defense Supply Service-Washington, on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Comptroller, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Management System Designers, Inc. (MSD), 204C Mill Street, NE, Vienna, VA 22180, for the upgrade of two (2) NetFRAME Superservers (one unclassified and one classified). On the classified network, the server upgrade will include an upgrade kit for NF8420 to NF8590 which supports NetWare 4.1, 4.1SMP and Windows-NT. The upgrade consists of one(1) system processor module (Pentium 150MHz), fan, NF8590 motherboard, DC power mod, key licensing diskette and documentation. The unclassified network server upgrade will include an upgrade kit for NF8440 to NF8590 which supports NetWare 4.1, 4.1SMP, and Windows-NT. The upgrade consists of one(1) system processor module (Pentium 150MHz), fan, NF8490 motherboard, DC power mod, key licensing diskette and documentation.
