As part of the Army's Energetic Material Development Program, engineering services for three years are required to develop energetic materials using the extrusion and slurry emulsion processing. Formulations will be scaled up from bench scale to pilot plant scale batch sizes for the purpose of conducting sensitive testing and explosive qualification. The energetic materials being considered for this contract contains high concentration of explosive fillers energetic plasticizers, and polymer binders which are processed in a manner similar to that used for small arms gun propellant. Proposed contract is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee. Proposals from all responsible sources will be considered. Deadline for written requests is 31 Jul 96.
