The New Technology Demonstration Program seeks proposals for the evaluation of energy efficient and renewable technologies that promise significant cost and energy savings through application in Federal facilities. There is no close date for the submittal of proposals. Technologies considered must at least be commercially available at the time evaluations are completed, and at most not have significant applications currently in place in the Federal sector. The actual number of proposals accepted in a given fiscal year will depend on the availability of Program funds, the availability of Federal host sites, the interest expressed by private sector participants, and their willingness to share in establishing and operating the technology at a Federal site or contributing information for publication.
