This is a market survey by the Prepositioning Program (PM 3) of the Military Sealift Command. The Military Sealift Command is seeking interested sources for a future request for proposals for the operation andmaintenan ce of 8 newly constructed Large Medium Speed Roll-on/Roll-off vessels. Four vessels are LOA 950ft, draft 35ft, and are equipped with four Colt-Pielstick 10PC4.2V Diesel main propulsion engines. The remaining four vessels are LOA 950FT, draft 35ft,and are equipped with two GE LM2500 gas turbine main propulsion engines. The interested parties must indicate ability to operate and maintain either the Diesel main propulsion engine vessels, gas turbine main propulsion engine vessels or both.
