Q -- PSYCHIATRIST SERVICES SOL RFP 128-0207 DUE 090896 POC Curtis A. Courtney, Contracting Officer, (606) 253-8885. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Memphis, TN, has a requirement for a board certified Psychiatrist. The contractor shall provide diagnostic and treatment recommendations of programs in the field of Psychiatry for inmate patients referred by the Medical Staff. Due to the nature of this contract, all individuals working within the institution will be required to submit to Security Clearances. This will be a competitive procurement with award being made to the offeror determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered. These other factors include Past Performance and Technical. Services will be required during the normal work week, an estimated 8 sessions per month (1 session = 1 hour), for an estimated 96 sessions per year. The base year of the contract shall run for 12 months from the date of award with four (4) one year option periods for renewal. It is anticipated solicitation packages will be mailed approximately August 8, 1996, with an approximate due date of September 8, 1996. It is anticipated this solicitation will result in a Firm-Fixed Price, Requirements type contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid which may be considered for award.
